As I walked down the road towards the Southern Avenue Lakes, on a balmy Sunday afternoon... This Gulmohar tree caught my eye with its cheerful, canary yellow floral bunches...
I have always been partial to the colour RED...
To me it signifies... Life, Passion & Fire… This flaming mix of orange & red flowers atop a gulmohar tree, Contrasts with its cooler green leaves … a perfect combination in colour
Adding a bit of colourful glamour to the already picturesque scene, With the windblown trees & the rippling lakes in the background.
I wish I could also capture the sensation of the beautiful breeze, which blew …
Rustling the foliage, swaying the branches of the trees…
The breeze passed over the cool waters of the lake creating symmetrical ripples,
Which traversed from one end of the lake to another & lapped the shores soothingly
The rhythmic movement of the branches of this tree created a brilliant effect…
Reminded me of the ‘Chinese Ink’ tree paintings I did years back!!!
A red tiled, man-made shade just behind the gnarled branches of a tree, A perfect rest spot…
Seated on one of the large cemented seats found around the lakes…
A HOT Favorite among the joggers & ‘coo-chi cooing’ couples…
The sunrays filtered through the leaves, creating a 'Halo'
The cool green shade providing relief to the lovers that sit entwined underneath its leafy cover...
The Glamourous Bouganvillea ...in all its pinkish hue...
The extened branch of a Gulmohar tree, looking gorgeous against the clear blue sky...
A Classic ... Natural Arch of the tree
